21st century skills are a set of abilities that children need to develop in order to succeed in the information age. 21st century skills equip today’s children to find effective solutions for the problems of today and also the problems of tomorrow, which are not perceived as problems at present.
In this day and age of technology, where the world around us is changing every second, it's important for us to be adaptive. 21st century skills enable us to Realise, Learn and Act according to the changes in our surroundings.
In a constantly changing environment, having life skills is an essential part of being able to meet the challenges of everyday life.
We at Fly Higher come up with national projects for underprivileged children, who are housed at various schools and orphanages. We plan a series of activities under a specific theme; these themes are carefully thought out ideas, which focus on instilling specific life skills. Our projects are a perfectly balanced combination of fun and development.
All projects are results of discussion between our coordinators and volunteers to tap the overall potential of the children. Each activity is customised based on the age group, gender and background of the children to whom we cater.
Youngsters experience challenges, they mostly need someone to listen to them and guide them. FHI Mentorship Program provides a platform to people who want to positively impact lives of youngsters by being their mentors.
Enabling children & youth with 21st Century skills & competencies to be better prepared for life.
