Skills for All & All for Skills by Ishita R Bahadur

“Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn.” Benjamin Franklin

Little kids are like a soft clay, they can be molded in any shape. Then why not make them a masterpiece! And this masterpiece will only be possible when we as youth realize our responsibility in creating them. This will in turn help them to cope up with this dynamic world and also they can be the ones who can make the world a better place.

We are living in a world where merely bookish education is not enough to lead a good life, you have to groom the skills in yourself and if you’re not able to brush up on them then create one.

We FHI family can help the kids in tailoring their skills and help them to use these skills in an effective way. And we can do this by organizing some fun yet mindful activities. One way is to communicate with them well and make them comfortable so that they can do the same with us. We can make them lead a program, which will help them to grow leadership skills. We can also ask them to teach us, so that we’ll be able to learn what they want from us.

On a broader level, skills strengthen the ability of an individual to meet the needs and demands of the present society. Imparting life skills training through inculcating life skills education will help the kids in standing out.
